Psychology and Neuropsychology of Language Laboratories: Randi Martin & Tatiana Schnur, Rice University, Houston TX
The Schnur and Martin laboratories are seeking a bright, motivated, organized, and resourceful individual to work in both laboratories. The position includes participating in all facets of research including testing of both normal and brain-injured participants, analyzing data, developing stimulus materials in a series of experiments using various research methodologies, and performing literature searches. We are particularly interested in applicants who have a strong interest in cognition and cognitive neuroscience as well as experience with psychology testing software (e-prime, psyscope, DMDX), statistical packages (SPSS, SAS, and/or JMP) and software applications (macros in Excel, adobe photoshop/writer/illustrator). Previous experience in a psychology research laboratory and a two-year commitment is required.
