The Cognitive Neuropsychology Lab at Georgetown University
is seeking a full-time Post-Doctoral Fellow or Research Associate and a full-time
research speech/language pathologist and a research assistant to join our
research team focusing on language and learning/memory function and dysfunction.
Ongoing research projects include case studies and experimental cognitive
treatment studies of alexia and anomia; studies of semantic memory in dementia
populations; and remediation of cognitive deficits in early stage dementia.
Development of other research projects employing behavioral, fMRI, ERP, or
modeling studies are encouraged. Start date negotiable. First position requires
M.D. or Ph.D. in Psychology, Speech-Language Pathology, Neuroscience, Computer
Science, or related field. Second position requires a master’s degree
in SLP and a strong interest in research. The third position is for a highly
motivated person with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, SLP, neuroscience,
cognitive science, linguistics, or any other related field. All positions
require a minimum commitment of two, and preferably three, years.
